The Beaded Leash began during a season of change.

After more than a decade in the restaurant business, I began looking for a new creative venture as I scaled back following the industry challenges of the post-Covid years. I knew I wanted to build something that combined my love of design as an award-winning artist, with the experience I had gained creating and growing a business.I had also brought my dog Max home during Covid, and he had become a constant source of joy and peace during the turbulent years.

The question became: How can I combine these elements I love into a new focus?

Max has a big personality, and I’ve always loved accessorizing him with pieces that feel as distinctive as he is. Some of my favorite time with him is spent walking the beautiful state parks and trails here in Connecticut. I wanted a leash that felt as special as those walks—something functional and beautifully made, but also something I genuinely loved carrying.

So I made one. And a new adventure began.....

That first leash became the beginning of The Beaded Leash.

Today, each collection begins with an original combination of color, texture and pattern designed by me. Every piece is then carefully handcrafted in Connecticut using thoughtfully selected materials and premium components, because I believe beautiful design should never come at the expense of quality.

The result is dog gear designed to be part of the memories you make together—from the everyday walk around the neighborhood to the adventures you’ll remember for years to come.

This new venture is like my walks with Max-- I don't know where it's going, but I am so happy to be here.
